Nadine Njeim Says She Was Inspired by Princess Diana To Play Her Most Recent Role
Dr. Bayan’s qualities mirror that of the late Princess
This Ramadan, Nadine Njeim takes centre stage in this brand new drama, which delves deep into her character’s relationship with her politician partner and with her bodyguard.
Starring alongside Kossai Khaului and Mo’tasem Al Nahar, the story depicts Ghamar Al Ghanem, a successful businessman who falls in love with Bayan Najm Al Deen (played by Njeim), a successful doctor. But things are never that easy and their romance hits a hurdle when Ghamar’s bodyguard Jad Ali falls in love with Bayan as well.
It seems the former Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia cover star’s character has touched a few fans, with one follower in particular taking to Twitter to express how Dr. Bayan’s qualities and characteristics reminded her of the late Princess Diana.
“The life of Dr. Bayan reminds me a lot of Lady Diana’s life,” she Tweets. ‘The way she used to love helping people and supporting them.”

The mother-of-two replied, revealing how Diana inspired her character. “This is exactly what I wanted to come out of my role in this series. We didn’t want to announce it before people figured it out themselves.”
