“Before my wedding I made sure I was eating healthily, exercising regularly and drinking plenty of water. I suffered with some breakouts before the big day, so I was having monthly facials but other than that, kept my skincare simple and my skin hydrated. The goal for my beauty look on the wedding day was to create a natural, glowy look (channelling Rosie Huntington-Whitley). My hero products were Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder and Hourglass Ambient Light Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light, these products ensured my make-up was set with a flawless finish without looking heavy. I also kept my lips hydrated with a combination of Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm and Hourglass Confessions Lipstick. As for my wedding day scent I wanted something to compliment the surroundings — it was an outdoor wedding in rural France so I went for Byredo Gypsy Water.”

“A month before my wedding I did PRP therapy at Highness Beauty Clinic & Spa in Dubai which helped my skin look super hydrated and rejuvenated. It really improved wrinkles, fine lines and pores — which were my main concern. Then, the week before the big day I had a beautiful facial at the same clinic, getting amazing results. My skin was glowing. On the wedding day I was in good hands with my hair and make-up artist, Manuel Losada — he is all about beautiful bridal skin. For gorgeous lips, Manuel used M.A.C Lip Scrubtious and for radiant skin, Sisley Double Tenseur Instant & Long-Term Gel — a hydrating formula that has an immediate smoothing and firming effect that’s perfect for applying make-up over. He then mixed Becca’s Glow Silk Highlighter Drops into my foundation for the best glow ever.”

“Having worked as a make-up artist for many years, I have learned the key to beautiful make-up is looking after your skin. I made sure to drink plenty of water leading up to my wedding and completely cut out gluten for three months. I also joined fitness program, F45 which was key to helping me feel confident in my Gemy Maalouf corseted dress. I would advise any bride to invest in a rose quartz roller — it stimulates blood flow to the skin and has a lifting effect to the face. I used mine on the day of the wedding before applying my make-up. I did my own make-up, using a few key products from Charlotte Tilbury and Hourglass. Hero products were Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadow in Rose Gold and Rock’n’Khol Eyeliner in Barbarella Brown by Charlotte Tilbury.”

“For my Sangeet the theme was colourful and fun Bollywood! To achieve a natural look with just the right amount of drama, I worked closely with renowned Lebanese make-up artist, Hilda Dagher to create bold statement eyes with a soft, neutral lip. My lengha was a combination of bright colours, mainly pinks and purples with a lot of bling, so we used eyeshadows from Huda Beauty’s Desert Dusk palette. Dark circles have always been an issue for me so Tom Ford’s Emotionproof Concealer plus some professional contouring and highlighting gave me the perfect bridal glow. I also used the Organic Pomegranate Gel Anti-Aging Mask from Fio de Ouro leading up to my wedding week which helped to smooth my skin and give me a fresh, youthful look. Last but not least, my fragrance of choice for the night, Calligraphy by Aramis, matched the richness of my outfit and the Eastern feel of Bollywood in Arabia.”
