As wedding season carries on we can’t stop scrolling through Instagram, admiring the lavish celebrations of the Arab world’s most famous and notable families – which now count an Egyptian megastar and her beau, a former athlete, as the latest couple to tie the knot.
Nelly Karim and Hisham Ashour were married yesterday in a small ceremony on the North Coast of Egypt – and while the festivities were kept intimate, the affair was no less special or luxe.
The beautiful beach wedding took place at The Lemon Tree & Co, Hacienda White where breath-taking sea views could be seen in the background, as the couple celebrated their love for one and other.
The bride stunned in two heavenly bridal ensembles, both carefully created by Maison Yeya, and had her make-up down by Abdalla Refaei and hair by Kriss Beauty Salons. The ceremony witnessed the presence of a number of A-list celebrities including Amr Diab, Mari Omar, Yasmine Yeya and Egyptian film director Mohamed Sami.
