Revealed: These Are The Celebs With The Most Fake Instagram Followers

A new report conducted by The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) has revealed the top celebrities in ‘showbiz’ with the most amount of fake followers on Instagram.

Surprisingly, chat show host Ellen DeGeneres was found to have the highest number of fake followers overall at 48 per cent, Korean pop band BTS takes second place with a total of 47 per cent of fake followers, and Kourtney Kardashian rings in at third with 46 per cent.

ICMP ran the audit through ‘showbiz’ and ‘sports’ celebrities using measuring software IG Audit. Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos tops not only the sporting list, but also outruns Ellen DeGeneres with a total of 51 per cent of fake followers.

Here are the top 10 ‘showbiz’ celebrities with the most overall fake followers:
